Tom Parker has likened The Wanted's split to Zayn Malik leaving One Direction. The 27-year-old singer can empathise with Zayn wanting to lead a "normal life" as the 'Glad You Came' hitmaker experienced a taste of the "intense" lifestyle the 1D lads led. Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he said: "I was watching an interview with Zayn Malik, he hit the nail on the head. He felt like he didn't have creative input into it, which from my side I feel like we were on the same page, even though we had different tastes. But, I do feel like we were in control.
